Learn to play better billiards – Lesson 4: Bridges
We all want to learn to play better billiards, don’t we? Jester’s Billiards is proud to share this wonderful video series on how to play better billiards, starring Master Instructor Anthony Beeler!
Lesson 4: Bridges
In Lesson Three, Anthony taught us about the correct grip, and the correct grip pressure. In Lesson Four, we will be looking at the craft of the Bridge.
From the website (McDermottCue.com):
“Having shown you how to get the right stance, how to place your bridge the right distance from the cue ball, and how to grip the cue correctly, Anthony now shows you how to form the six main types of bridges. He covers the open bridge, closed bridge, rail bridge, extended rail bridge, tripod bridge and mechanical bridge. In episode five, Anthony will teach you how to get a consistent stroke.
The first bridge I wanna talk about is the open bridge, and that’s the most commonly used bridge among professional players. The second most popular bridge is the closed bridge.”
Here is some background information about Anthony Beeler, from pooldawg.com:

In addition, he also won the 2013 BCAPL National 9-Ball Championship and has a total of six top 25 national finishes to his credit.”
“[Anthony] is a certified instructor for the American CueSports Association (ACS) and is the primary author of the ACS National Billiard Instructor’s Manual. Recently, he released a new book entitled, “Unstoppable! Positive Thinking for Pool Players.”
